Yoyogi Park is a Good Option for an Afternoon Stroll

Looking for something to do on Sunday? Yoyogi park is always a good option for a afternoon stroll any time of year but now is probably the best time of year. This photo was taken on a cold winter's Sunday afternoon in February and there was still lots to see from Rockabillies and funky dressed youths to very pampered dogs being walked by their equally pampered owners.  I am not sure if I was more interested in seeing the Rockabilly guys or to see the tourists with their cameras all vying for a great shot. Fabulous people watch.
To get there: Just get off at Harajuku Station and the park is very near the station. You can't miss it. Just follow the crowds. There is usually something to see until sundown.

  1. Although you might not see as much dancing in this area as you did before. The shopping is absolutely amazing. Also, stop by the TESLA show room in Jingu-mae to take a test ride on one of the world's coolest EVs. If you sign off on a form you can also test drive the awesome Tesla!!!

  2. Thanks for the info Ruth. I should have given the Tesla a go.
