A gem in central Tokyo

Compared to cities such as Osaka, Tokyo is full of beautiful parks lying in the very center of the city.
Being far away from any forest these parks makes a perfect retreat for the people living in the cramped city.

One park that might go unnoticed for many foreign tourists is the Koishikawa park near the Kourakuen stadium. The closet station is Iidabashi, with a 3 - 8 min walk from the station depending on which line you take. The park's water lilies are currently blooming and beautiful stone paths and bridges are parts of the experience. The park has a more forest feel to it compared to other city parks and surely the autumn is ought to be a good time to visit too.

Entrance fee: 300 yen
